Kim and Paul are amazing! They came down from Colorado to spend the holidays with family here on Oahu and shoot their engagement session. They’ll be getting married up here on Oahu’s North Shore at the Ke Iki Bungalows in March and I’m so excited about their wedding. They’re really one of the cutest couples in existence and I’m really excited to shoot their wedding. We had tons of fun cruising all over the north shore and shooting some really bright, colorful and sweet photos. Thanks for such an awesome day – enjoy!

Jordyn is fun, bubbly and sweet! She and I had a great time exploring the sunflower fields out here on the North Shore. She’s looking to get into modeling, so we decided to start with a simple portrait session and play around with a fun, light, sunshiny vibe.

Christina and Jason are the type of people that make me love my job as a wedding photographer in Hawaii. They were sweet, easy going and lots of fun. With fun colorful details like a candy bar, beautiful henna work and an AMAZING superhero cake by the uber talented Rick and Sasha over at Cakelava, the wedding was a total blast. And we were lucky enough to not get the expected rain – but even if we had, Christina was prepared with super cute umbrellas for everyone just in case – and a special bright pink heart shaped one for her and Jason! The team over at Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joes in Kaneohe were beyond stellar – I pretty much loved every single thing about this entire wedding.
Kind of a long post but worth it! Enjoy!

I shot Paula and Toby’s wedding at the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows on Oahu’s North Shore . The super fun, efficient and sweet Heather from Heather Hall Events did the day of coordinating.
Since getting back from Italy, I’ve kind of been slacking on the blog postings… So here they come! Enjoy. Thanks Paula and Toby for being so AWESOME.

Just a quick image from Toby and Paula’s wedding the other week! More to come soon. I love these two – they are beyond SUPER.

I had the pleasure of doing a shoot with Veronica Otto, a friend from New York, who is in the midst of designing a line of vintage inspired, aloha print dresses and resortwear called Haloa. We had a blast shooting with Ciara, who’s from Hawaii and beautiful! Francesca of Francesca B Designs was generous enough to lend us some of her AMAZING jewelry ( she makes some of the most kick ass, unique, nature inspired yet still cosmopolitan jewelry I’ve seen in Hawaii yet – you should check her out!) – and the country proved to be the perfect backdrop… Here’s a few shots from the day.

I shot the cover and inside story for this weeks Honolulu Weekly. I HEART the Weekly big time, so it was a big pleasure to shoot this for them, especially considering that they don’t do a lot of photo covers.
The two below were from the same shoot. The first image was used in the story and the other image is just one I really liked!

Here’s a few pictures from the Pacific Wedding Guide Launch Party. The site {PacificWeddingGuide.com} is Tara DePonte’s beautiful local guide to getting weddings done the right way: fun & fashionably – just like Tara! I’m really excited to see what she comes up with throughout this year – she’s already blowing my mind with such a sweet & friendly launch party (at the awesome lifestyle/design/furniture boutique So’mace), stellar website & blog, and great ideas. It was so great to see lots of friends there and to meet soooo many talented and wonderful new ones. Thanks to everyone for letting me shove my camera in their faces.
PS. Don’t forget to check out the video of the night that Keone of Kai Media put together!

Okay, get ready, because this is a loooooong post — but with good reason. Megan and Angelo are SUPER cool and made a whole bunch of really really AWESOME images while I was shooting their wedding in Hawi, on the Big Island. They were up for all kinds of fun, so I really can’t help posting an enormously long blog about them, because their pictures are just that cool.
Thanks for such a great time – you two (and your awesome families!) were so much fun to shoot with!
